On 4th June 1945 No. 311 Squadon finished operational duty and since July 1945 served with unarmed Liberators as transport unit which ensured the ferry between Great Britain and Czechoslovakia until end of 1945 when all Liberators were returned back to the United Kingdom as they were find unsuitable for small airfiled in Czechoslovakia.
